The 2022 Super Sonoman features aromatics expressing Strawberry, Bing cherry, cedar box, tobacco with floral notes of Violet flowers. This years Super is a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and touch of Syrah. On the palate the win¬e is exceedingly plush with flavors of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, plum and crushed dried herbs. The wine finishes with notes of leather, baking spice, orange peel, with notes of milled pepper on the nose. Intensely rich, this blend will age for a decade or more. Grapes: Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah.

2023 Rose of Pinot Noir

The 2021 Ionnotti Cabernet Sauvignon is both expressive and tantalizing.  Starting with aromatics of dark berries, cherry, sweet tobacco notes and crushed dried herbs. On the pallet there are layers of dried cherries, sweet tobacco, hazelnut, sage and orange zest.  An enveloping mouthfeel coupled with mid pallet tannin and lots of personality give way to a richness of flavors.  Well integrated, full bodied and food friendly.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Ionnatti Vineyard

The 2021 Jenks Pinot Noir is beautifully colored crimson red hue, the wine expresses the pleasing aromatics we have come to love about this vineyard of ripe tree fruits, wild berries, fresh sage, lavender, cinnamon, forest floor, leather, and roasted nuts.  This Pinot Noir continues its reputation with excessively rich, dense and captivating flavors of black raspberry, bright cherry, cherry cola, blueberry and pomegranate.  The wine has layers of Asian spice, all wrapped with the framework of selective oak barrel. Adding to the complexity, the wine is profiled with a velvety texture, velvety tannins, firm structure, and a wonderfully long finish. Year after year this vineyard creates a wine that is not only consistent in profile but approachable when young and built to age. This wine is very reminiscent of the 2015 and 2016 vintages, which were spectacular drinkers a decade into aging.

2021 Merlot, Mustard Hill

Intentionally made on the lighter side with a focus on food, the 2018 Sangiovese holds true to the characteristics of this classic wine.  The nose shows a lovely expression of cherry cola and strawberry notes that bolstered by leather and tobacco with some crushed herbs to round it out. The pallet is light to medium bodied for my style of winemaking, but the texture is silky and seductive.  This wine is a classic Sangiovese with notes of cherry, strawberry and plum in your mouth.  This wine finished off with soft and subtle notes of herbs and dried fruit.
