2014 Taddei Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley

With a dark red hue interlaced with hints of dark purple and indigo, the wine opens up with alluring aromas of ripe berries, freshly baked blueberry tart, black licorice, dark chocolate, earth tones, cinnamon and incense. On the palate, the flavors expand with generous notes of ripe blackberry, huckleberry, fresh cassis, bittersweet chocolate nibs, roasted walnuts and layers of spice. On top of that, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel, firm structure, smooth tannins, and a long, gracious finish. The end result is a brilliant wine with a perfect balance of power, composure and finesse without being too sweet or cloying—all inside one bottle! 

2010 Taddei Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2015 Linked Cabernet follows in the footsteps of the 2014 yet adds a layer of finish that the vintage allowed to happen. This wine features classic aromas of ripe red and black stone fruits, dried herbs, with hints of leather and tobacco. Bold and rich on the palate, this wine exudes stone fruit notes of dark cherry, ripe plum, wild berries and layers of cooking spice. This wine is full-bodied with smooth tannin&#39;s, round mouth feel and a long, persistent finish. 2015 Taddei Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley

The 2016 clone 337 has both structure and approachability.  Like its brother little brother clone 15, the 2016 clone 337 spent three years in new French oak. Soften with barrel time and age this classic wine is packed with dark stone fruit and fruit forward berry flavors, seamlessly wrapped in a leather, tobacco, and graphite aromatic. The 2016 clone 337 has intense stone fruit and berry and dark cherry notes in the mouth. The mid Palate is defined with currant, white pepper and minerality undertones.

2016 Taddei Cabernet Sauvignon, Link Vineyard, Clone 15, Knights Valley

2018 Rutherford TADDEI Block sits on the Rutherford Bench almost directly across from Alpha Omega.  The vineyard is approximately three quarters of an acre, and we farm the fruit at approximately two tons an acre. I lightly saingee this fruit only to adjust alcohol and pH.  I love the profile of the Rutherford dirt and I do what I can to preserve it in the wine.  2018 was the first vintage I processed fruit from the block, and often it takes two or three vintages to figure out how to handle the vineyard. I really love this little block and in 2018 the wine shows lovely flavors of plum, cherry and leather on the pallet with soft tannins.  The nose has a floral characteristic to it with notes of dark stone fruits. The wines finish is very smooth with hints f leather, espresso and dark fruit.
